First moves are in! I invested in crowd-lending platforms Envestio and Fast Invest after doing research and I've opened an index fund for the long haul. The plan of the index fund is to keep depositing monthly and see what it all compounds to over a 30 year timespan.
|Fast Invest||EUR 0|
|Payment commissions||EUR 136|
I also made an investment in Envestio through my REDSTAR business. As this is a completely different legal entity, I am not including that in the overview. I'm not sure if I should, I fully own REDSTAR as an asset, so any corporate investments will eventually benefit me when I take out dividend. Let me know what you think?
October is over and now I can have my first savings rate chart. We settled in China again and the finances became much more stable. A full months pay, still a few travel expenses as we went to visit the family in a different province of China for the National holiday week (Oct 1 to 7). But overall I am very happy with the improvement this month. We ended up on a savings rate of 60,16%.
This month contained my first investments and I'm looking forward to see the first results of that in November. I'm happy to start with smaller investments. Hopefully it gives me more time to learn and more leeway to make mistakes with out too much pain.
Really looking forward what kind of results we'll get next month!
